However, I cannot imagine throwing any of them in the trash. There are too many other options. How about donating some to the local senior center or assisted living facilities? What about the local library -- they can always use them when they have their annual used book sale? Are any of them appropriate for teens? If so, give them to the high school library? Crafters are using old books for a variety of projects these days. Is there a local craft club or art group?
