I'm an avid reader and sometimes a short story is just better and more convenient than a longer book.KayeDeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15052800164152258580noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4198904273734254988.post-71440268012209676692008-12-16T03:42:00.000-05:002008-12-16T03:42:00.000-05:00It's so magical the many ways to swindle the alpha...It's so magical the many ways to swindle the alphabet!!! But, I have to confess that short stories steal my heart! There is room to expand and leave trails of adventure and create a mystery that only the reader will imaginatively be able to solve! Romance burns with more intensity and there always is a fire or two burning whether figuratively or literally in the distance or within. I'd say anywhere from 8 to 32 pages is brilliant for a short story. And, some of my most magical inspirations are Anais Nin, Jane Bowles, Ernest Hemingway, Flannery O’Connor, James Baldwin and more. : )))

Thanks so much for this fabulous give~away! : )))

leahita[at]gmail[dot]comLeahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01882007700555508250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4198904273734254988.post-30241738192617778432008-12-12T08:09:00.000-05:002008-12-12T08:09:00.000-05:00I have been a lover of the short story since I rea...I have been a lover of the short story since I read Shirley Jackson's The Lottery.
sc2466 at comcast dot netAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4198904273734254988.post-75693170826278134252008-12-12T07:09:00.000-05:002008-12-12T07:09:00.000-05:00I orefer short stories I am reading books on Angel...I orefer short stories I am reading books on Angels by Doreen Virtue, PHD..
"HOW TO HEAR YOUR ANGELS" 170 PAGES
just the right size to finish in a day but I love big books to thanks for the chance to read yours, I am a readaholic....
scottpamela@ymail.comPamihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11182079403649250349noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4198904273734254988.post-90821874057962618702008-12-11T23:58:00.000-05:002008-12-11T23:58:00.000-05:00short stories are great!short stories are great!valerie2350https://www.blogger.com/profile/11898675500496055920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4198904273734254988.post-49539717655933932342008-12-11T21:32:00.000-05:002008-12-11T21:32:00.000-05:00I like short stories as well. My favourite writers in this genre are Marget Atwood & John McGahern - ranging from Canada to Eire, with a sense of the science fiction-ish and the parochial.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09118508591006467682noreply@blogger.com
