So how does it work? very simple - when you balance out 50 books by planting 50 trees with Eco-Libris, you can now you can get a free copy of one of these great books (all printed on recycled or FSC-certified paper): Clean Body, Raw for Dessert, Greening Your Small Business, The Simple Little Vegan Dog Book, Sweet Utopia and Sustainable Sushi.

And that's not all:

Readers who will balance out 25 books by planting 25 trees will also receive a $10 gift card for Strand Book Store of New York City, one of the world's best independent bookstores with over 18 miles of new, used, rare and art books. These cards are good for any in-store or online purchases and they never expire.

And readers who will balance 100 books by planting 100 trees will also receive a $25 gift card for BookSwim, a Netflix-style book rental .library service, lending you paperbacks, hardcovers and college textbooks.

Eco-Libris: Promoting sustainable reading!

Last week we started our green gift campaign (http://www.ecolibris.net/gifts.asp), where we give great gifts that promote green reading! From free green books to gift cards for Strand Bookstore and BookSwim, the Netflix for books, Eco-Libris is now rewarding readers who balance out 25 books or more by planting trees.

As we mentioned earlier, my beautiful baby Shira was chosen to lead the campaign, and she is starring in a couple of funny videos that we hope you will enjoy. Here's the latest one that was published yesterday:

Eco-Libris: Rewarding green readers!

Eco-Libris collaborates with Green Mom Finds in a giveaway of green books

We're always happy to take part in giveaways of green books. This week we're collaborating with the great website 'Green Mom Finds' in a giveaway that is in celebration of the upcoming father's day (June 15).

Green Mom Finds presents their readers with our green books guide for father's day as a source for ideas for green-themed books. We also helped to arrange a giveaway of two great books that are included in the book: The Green Parent and Hey, Mr. Green. In both cases, the publishers (Kedzie Press and Sierra Club respectively) generously donated two copies of each book. We also added another prize of 20 trees/stickers and of course, a tree is planted for each copy given here.

What you need to do to take part in the giveaway?
